Constanta State Theatre, among the UNITER prizes winners, again

For four years, no UNITER Gala passes without the name of the State Theatre of Constanța and the titles of the plays staged on the Constanța stage being mentioned, both during the announcement of the nominations and at the awarding of the prizes.

The team of the State Theatre of Constanța is going on tour, while renovation work begins at the Studio Hall.

The 2023-2024 season of the State Theatre of Constanța ended with the preview of the play Casa Bernardei Alba, and in May and June, three of the theatre's productions were selected to participate in several festivals. At the same time, the Studio Hall will undergo much-needed renovations.

"Casa Bernardei Alba" by Federico García Lorca – returns to the stage of the Constanța theater after 50 years.

The preview of the play "Casa Bernardei Alba" by Federico García Lorca, directed by Diana Mititelu, was scheduled at the State Theatre of Constanța on April 26 and 27, at 19:00.

The Director of the State Theatre of Constanța will artistically coordinate the Young Actor Gala HOP 2024

The 27th edition of the Gala Tânărului Actor HOP 2024 will have as its artistic director the director Erwin Șimșensohn, General Director of the State Theatre of Constanța (TSC), as decided by the Senate of UNITER (The Union of Theatrical Artists of Romania).

The Constanta State Theatre was awarded two prizes in the field of performing arts at the Gala of the cultural magazine "Rinocerul" 2023.

Highway to the theatre - third edition

Constanța State Theatre - October Festivals

In October, the Constanta State Theatre was invited to several other important festivals in the country: the International Theatre Festival for Young Audiences Iasi 2023, the Excelsior International Youth Theatre Festival - "X-Fest" 2023, the "Young Theatre Week" in Buzău and the National Theatre Festival, held in Bucharest and organized by UNITER.

Summer is over, and with it SEAS - Summer Season of Performing Arts. But the Constanta State Theatre continues its journey. This month the winner of the UNITER award for Best Performance, SEASIDE STORIES, directed by Radu Afrim, was invited to two important festivals: the Piatra Neamt Theatre Festival 2023 and the Romanian National Theatres Meeting, Chisinau.
