SEAS - THE SUMMER SEASON OF PERFORMING ARTS - Third Edition, CONSTANȚA, July – September 2024

The Constanța State Theatre is organizing the third edition of the Summer Season of Performing Arts (SEAS) from July to September, with the financial support of the Constanța County Council and the main partnership of the Constanța City Hall. This year, SEAS also has a main sponsor, the energy provider PPC.

The performances are scheduled at the Soveja Summer Theatre, Tomis Summer Garden, the House of Culture, Ovidiu Hall at the Continental Forum Hotel, Club SNC Hall, BCR Youth Hub on the seafront, and in the Railway Station Park. One of the goals of the season is to activate as many cultural spaces as possible within the city.

During SEAS, the people of Constanța and the tourists visiting the seaside will have the opportunity to see some of the best theatre performances and concerts produced in Romania, as well as invited performances from abroad.

Each year, SEAS is becoming a major cultural event for the entire Constanța community. It has achieved unprecedented mobilization among young people in Constanța, including students and pupils, with the volunteer program seeing impressive growth year after year. If there were around 50 volunteers last year, in 2024 the number of those registered has reached almost 200.

Furthermore, more and more representatives from the local business community wish to support SEAS. This year, they are doing so as HORECA partners by providing the festival wine (Caii de la Letea), offering discounts to spectators with a theatre ticket (Zoom Beach, Barissimo, Popina, Mangia Mangia, Rozmarine, Bueno), by providing spaces for performances and organization (Hotel Continental Forum, BCR), as mobility partners offering cars for use in organizing the season (Cardinal Motors), or by providing spaces for promoting the events (City Mall).

Tickets for all events within SEAS can be purchased from the Constanța State Theatre's ticket office, at the performance venues a few hours before the shows, or online on the Mystage and Bilet.ro platforms.
