The Constanța State Theater was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit in the rank of Commander

The Constanța State Theater was awarded the National Order of Cultural Merit in the rank of Commander, more than 70 years after its establishment.

Here is the text of the presidential decree:

"On the occasion of National Culture Day, in recognition of the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by the generations of theater practitioners, who have brought to life a significant number of characters and, in this way, contributed to the progress of Romanian theatrical art, the President of Romania decrees: The National Order of Cultural Merit in the rank of Commander, category D 'The Art of Performance', is awarded to the Constanța State Theater."

5 NEW PRODUCTIONS, 4 PRIZES, TENS OF PERFORMANCES ON OUR STAGE, PARTICIPATIONS IN FESTIVALS AND TOURNAMENTS, PROJECTS IN PROGRESS

Although performance and concert institutions faced significant challenges due to the pandemic and had their activities restricted by legal limitations and conditions, the Constanța State Theatre had a rich 2021 with premieres, awards, tours, and festival participations.

CONSTANTA STATE THEATRE ON TOUR IN BUCHAREST

From November 12 to 14, the Constanța State Theatre will be on tour in the capital, with two performances: "Jocuri în curtea din spate" and "Doi tineri din Verona."

The DbutanT 2021 Festival has announced its winners: Cornelia Iordache, Irisz Kovács, and Alin Neguțoiu

The 6th edition of the DbutanT Festival-Competition, organized by the "Andrei Mureșanu" Theater (TAM) in partnership with the Constanța State Theater (TSC), concluded on Saturday, October 16, with an awards ceremony and a concert by the band White Betty.

CONSTANȚA STATE THEATER - APPLAUDED ON CHISINAU AND BRAILA STAGES. IAŞI AND SFÂNTU GHEORGHE TO FOLLOW

The Constanța State Theater participated, at the end of September, in the Romanian National Theaters Reunion in Chișinău, organized by the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater.

From Chișinău, the artistic and technical teams of the performance "Jocuri în curtea din spate" stopped in Brăila, at the "Maria Filotti" Theater, where on October 1, a performance took place as part of the International Performing Arts Festival - DIALOG.

Starting with the performances on October 2-3, access to the theater will be allowed only with a COVID CERTIFICATE

Starting with the performance on Saturday, October 2, public access to the theater will be allowed based on proof of vaccination, testing, or recovery from illness, which must be provided through the EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE, available at https://certificat-covid.gov.ro/. The verification of this certificate is the responsibility of the organizer, through the mobile verification application "Check DCC".

Constanța State Theatre is honored to invite you on Saturday, September 25, to the opening of the 2021-2022 season with the premiere of the show GOI PUȘCĂ, based on the film The Full Monty.

The Nocturnes of Dobrogean Music and Poetry – The First Two Editions, Summer 2021

On August 17 and 31, 2021, the first two editions of the event "Nocturnes of Dobrogean Music and Poetry" took place, organized by the Constanța State Theatre in partnership with the KULTurale Association, as part of the summer season "TSC Summer Evenings."

STATE THEATRE OF CONSTANTA SUMMER EVENINGS

Throughout the month of August, Constanța State Theater presents a mini-summer season. The Constanta audience is invited to watch several performances of TSC, two performances of young actors and dancers troupes of from Constanta and two nights of Dobrogea poetry, which will take place in a more intimate setting, in the backyard of the theatre. The performances will be held at TSC headquarters - from 11 Ferdinand bvd. - and in Soveja Summer Theater.

In addition, also during this period, TSC troupe will make several trips in the country, participating in important events and festivals.

Thus, the performance “Maria Tănase. A story” by director Carmen Lidia Vidu, this year's winner of UNITER award for directing, was invited to open the summer season of the National Theatre “I.L. Caragiale” from Bucharest, entitled “Summer Nights, Up, on the Theatre”, on August 11th.

"Games in the backyard" performance, for which director Diana Mititelu won this year's UNITER award for debut, was invited to the prestigious International Theatre Festival in Sibiu, where two performances will be held on August 23.

Also, the performance "Z DAY" by Ionuț Sociu, directed by Bobi Pricop, was invited in the online section of the International Theatre Festival in Sibiu and will be presented on August 24.

Diana Mititelu receives Best Debut Award at UNITER GALA

On Monday, July 19, at the “I.L. Caragiale” National Theatre in Bucharest, the 29th edition of the UNITER Awards Gala took place, honoring performances that premiered in 2020.

At this edition, the Constanța State Theatre received two nominations for the UNITER awards, the first nominations for the Constanța theatre in 24 years.
