MARIA LUPU began her artistic career in the Puppet Theater (current Children's and Youth Theater ), then moved to the Fantasio Theater, now missing from the firmament of the performing institutions in Constanta, and, finally, at the Dramatic Theater, currently the Constanța State Theater. She has a rich record, which includes, at the puppet theatre, performances directed by Cristian Pepino, Kovacs Ildiko, Stefan Lenkisch, numerous performances at the revue theatre and significant awards, including the „ Zizi Șerban ” Award for best female performance, at the Revue Theatre Festival, but also many roles played on the stage of the Constanța State Theater, including Zoia from " The Magpies", Gertrude from ”Gonzago's murder ”, The rat from ”The King Rat” and, most recently, two roles, one in transvestites, in ”The Two Gentlemen from Verona ” by Shakespeare.
