Georgiana Rusu graduated in 2014 with a degree in Acting from the Faculty of Arts, Performing Arts Department, at "Ovidius" University of Constanța. Immediately after graduation, she joined the team at the Constanța State Theatre, where, over six years, she performed 13 roles in 11 productions. These included: Checca in "The Chioggia Scuffles" by Carlo Goldoni, directed by Dana Dumitrescu; The Bride in "Some Fools" based on Marin Sorescu, directed by Iulian Enache; The Wife and Anastasia in "Crazy Through Stories" based on Ion Creangă, directed by Nicolae Poghirc; Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare, directed by Marcel Țop; Decebal in "Titanic Waltz" by Tudor Mușatescu, directed by Cristian Șofron; Bacchante in "Dionysos" based on Euripides, directed by Daniele Salvo; Dancer in "Maria Tănase", directed by Călin Hanțiu; Jeanne in "The Most Beautiful Wife" based on Eugene Labiche, directed by MC Ranin; Slave and Pregnant Woman in "Eutopia" based on Aristophanes, directed by Yannis Margaritis; The Dog Imperator in "Ovidius in Love" based on Marin Mincu, directed by Alexander Hausvater; Catherine in "The Memory of Water" by Shelagh Stephenson, directed by Vladimir Anton. Her most cherished role remains Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Georgiana Rusu has also appeared in numerous independent theater productions, some of which she directed, wrote, or served as artistic director. Since 2017, she has distinguished herself as an independent cultural operator, securing non-refundable funding from A.F.C.N., Constanța City Hall, and the Constanța County Council.
