Ada Milea & Bobo Burlăcianu Concert organized by the Constanța State Theatre on National Culture Day
To celebrate National Culture Day, the Constanța State Theatre is organizing an extraordinary concert on January 15, 2025, featuring artists Ada Milea and Bobo Burlăcianu.
The “Concert in 2” will take place at the recently renovated Studio BCR Hall, located at 2A Ion Lahovari Street, starting at 7:00 PM.
The concert will include songs from Ada Milea's albums, but primarily pieces from theatrical performances directed by Ada Milea in numerous theatres across the country, many of which have won awards and enjoyed great public success. Speaking about these concerts performed with artist Bobo Burlăcianu, Ada Milea describes them as featuring “songs that escaped from theatre.”
The audience in Constanța will be able to hear songs from “Chirița in Concert”, inspired by Vasile Alecsandri, which won the 2019 UNITER Award for Best Show, as well as songs from “Alcohol”, based on poems by Ion Mureșan, “Childhood Memories”, inspired by Ion Creangă, tracks from the “Winter Songs” album, and more. Additionally, Ada Milea’s songs based on Gellu Naum’s texts will serve as a prelude to the performance she is currently directing at the Constanța State Theatre.
Ada Milea’s concerts are a captivating and enjoyable blend of music, theatre, and reinterpretations of Romanian literary texts, making them highly suitable for celebrating National Culture Day in a theatre setting.
Therefore, the audience in Constanța is invited to attend an interactive concert where the performers adapt their repertoire based on audience suggestions and reactions.
Marking the birthdate of poet Mihai Eminescu (1850–1889), January 15 has been designated as National Culture Day by Law No. 238 of December 7, 2010, and is celebrated annually by most cultural institutions across the country.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased both online via the partner platforms Bilet.ro and Mystage.ro, as well as from the TSC Ticket Agency, located at 97 Tomis Boulevard.
