Diana Mititelu graduated in 2015 from the "George Enescu" University of Arts in Iași, with a degree in Theatre Directing. Her graduation performance was "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams, a show that is still performed on the stage of the Constanța State Theatre. She then pursued her Master's degree in Theatre Directing at the National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC) in Bucharest (under the guidance of Professor Alexandru Darie and Assistant Professor Vladimir Anton). Her dissertation performance, "The Tragedy of Man" by Imre Madách, was a success and was later taken up by the National Theatre "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest as part of the 9G program. Diana Mititelu's third directed performance, "Backyard Games" by Edna Mazya, premiered on the stage of the Constanța State Theatre and was selected for the 2020 Debut Festival, where one of the actors from the cast won the festival's Grand Prize. The performance was also selected for adaptation to the VR (virtual reality) viewing system. In 2021, Diana Mititelu was nominated for the UNITER awards, where she won the DEBUT award for directing "Backyard Games" by Edna Mazya.
