Diana Mititelu graduated in 2015 from the "George Enescu" University of Arts, Iași, Department of Theater Directing; her graduation performance, "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams is still in the repertory of the State Theater of Constanta. She then attended the master classes at the National University of Drama and Cinematography Bucharest, department of Theater Directing (professor Alexandru Darie, assistant Vladimir Anton). Her dissertation performance, "The Tragedy of Man" after Imre Madàch, was a success and was taken over, within the 9G program, by the National Theater "I.L. Caragiale" Bucharest. The third performance directed by Diana Mititelu, ”Games in the Backyard” by Edna Mazya, premiered on the stage of the State Theater of Constanța and was selected for the Dbutant Festival 2020. The Grand Prize of the festival was awarded to one of the actors in the cast of this performance. The performance was also selected to be adapted to VR (virtual reality) viewing system. In 2021, Diana Mititelu is nominated for the UNITER awards, where she takes home the DEBUT award for directing the performance ”Games in the backyard” by Edna Mazya.
