Vladimir Anton is an actor and a well-known theater and film director. Born in Bucharest, the 6th of November, 1983, in 2006 he graduated National University of Theater and Cinematography “I.L. Caragiale” Bucharest, Theater Directing Department, in the class of professor Liudmila Szekely. In 2015 he staged the performances: “CEO” by Stig Larsson at Comedy Theater Bucharest, “Look Back In Anger” by John Osborne at “ Sică Alexandrescu ” Theater in Brașov and “Time Still Standing” by Donald Marguiles at Odeon Theater in Bucharest. In 2017 he staged “Tango” by Slawomir Mrozek, at “Maria Filotti” Theater Brăila , In 2019, Vladimir Anton staged “D’ale carnavalului” by I.L. Caragiale, at „Anton Pann” Theater in Vâlcea. He was assistant director of Francis Ford Coppola for "Youth Without Youth" in 2006, and he was film director for Acasă TV between 2007-2008. His production "Look Back In Anger" by John Osborne also has won, in 2015, at Brașov Festival of Contemporary Dramaturgy, the Awards for Best Actor and Best Actress for titular roles. He starred in "Six Characters in Search of an Author", directed by Liviu Ciulei, at „L.S. Bulandra” Theater in Bucharest.
