Ioana Silvana Neda is a 21-year-old emerging artist who harmoniously combines her dance education with fearless creativity. Each stage of her artistic training serves as fertile ground for her passion and overflowing creativity, finding expression through bold explorations of new ideas and concepts, translated into physical form that leaves a mark on the ever-evolving artistic scene.

The performance offers the audience an overview of the life of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, exploring the artist's mental decline caused by trauma. This is conveyed through a theatrical-choreographic discovery of her artistic fantasy, invoking the surrealist aesthetic. The focus is on Frida's character, her desire and struggle to overcome her limitations, and her ability to transform her suffering into her primary source of inspiration.

The festival showcases five performances featuring remarkable choreography, presented on the stages of both the Andrei Mureșanu Theatre in Sfântu Gheorghe and the Constanța State Theatre.

This year's awards provide two young winners the opportunity to choreograph a production staged at the Andrei Mureșanu Theatre in Sfântu Gheorghe and another at the Constanța State Theatre.
